David Ryal
David Ryal, Vice President, Government Relations, has spent the past ten years as a Director of local Small Business Development Center (SBDC) programs, which are funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The eleven years prior, David serviced as Executive Director of Chambers of Commerce in Southern California, where he worked closely with government agencies and elected officials at city, county, state and federal levels. David co-sponsored and coordinated several “Vendor Days” events at Vandenberg AFB, with the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business. He also planned and taught workshops at Vandenberg AFB on Entrepreneurship for those about to leave the military. He has planned and coordinated Women and Small Business Conferences for a Congressional Representative and State Assembly members. David currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Coastal Business Finance, a Certified Development Corporation involved in the SBA 504 Loan Program. He teaches the Entrepreneurial Training Program for Adult Ed., at Santa Barbara City College. He is a self-employment evaluator for Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors in three counties. In 2003, he was named "Man of Equality" by Women’s Economic Ventures of Santa Barbara County. Currently, he is writing A Strategic Planning Guide For Small Business, which will be a component of TTG's entrepreneurial program. Back to the Site Map |
