Rajiv Garg
Rajiv Garg, Executive Director - Technology, has supervised, designed and consulted on diverse technology and engineering projects. He has played a key role in a power plant design in Utah. He also helped define the product strategy for PXI software and VXI systems and successfully led a team to implement the first release of PXI-Express software drivers and hardware configuration utility. As an engineer, Rajiv was a key contributor in the design and implementation of the multi-million dollar Owens Lake project in California. Rajiv is on the forefront of technology and has implemented various innovative solutions for various corporations, such as Lincolnshire International, National Instruments and Infosys Technologies. Rajiv has published several conference proceedings in such areas as artificial intelligence, robotics, haptics, and health informatics He was nominated for the IEEE (Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Senior Member designation, and has served on the Executive Committees of the IEEE Section in Pittsburgh, PA, as well as the IEEE computer Society Chapter in Austin, TX. Additionally, he has been chairing the annual Robotic Car Race Contest held at Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA for the past two years. Rajiv earned an MS in Computer Science and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He is currently on sabbatical to earn his Ph.D in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where he is involved with advanced research on innovative technologies to drive growth in next generation internet business.
