Marshal Backlar, Senior Vice President, has spent several years in career management and leadership coaching. Previously, he spent over 25 years in film, television, cable and video, as an award winning producer and executive. At ABC Television, he was Director of Primetime Drama, where he oversaw the development of programming for many successful shows. His awards include an Academy Award Nomination, as well as First Prizes at the Cannes, Moscow and Venice Film Festivals. In addition, he was Director at the London office of Korn/Ferry International, where he established an Entertainment/Media consulting and search division for Europe. Marshal is a member of the Producers Branch, Academy Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. He is a graduate of Princeton University, with graduate studies at the Sorbonne in Paris.
